New fully-electric Nissan Micra UK pricing from £22,995

Pricing for the new Nissan Micra will start from £22,995 in the UK, when order books open on September 1, 2025.

The entry-level Engage model is the cheapest of the bunch, and is driven by a front-mounted, 40kWh battery capable of 198 miles on a single charge. The mid-range Advanced trim is priced from £24,996 with the 40kWh battery, and £26,995 for the 52kWh battery returning a 260-mile range.

Meanwhile, the flagship Evolve model is available solely with the 52kWh unit and comes with a £29,865 pricetag. It is expected that Nissan will launch their own in-house electric car grant of up to £1,500, and make it applicable to the Micra.

The Micra launched in 1983, and this latest version is the first to be offered as 100% electric. It’s also the most high-tech Micra yet. A 100kW DC charger enable sees the car charge from 15% to 80% in just 30 minutes, while a heatpump to improve charging efficiency is standard across the range.

Like all upcoming Nissan EVs, the new Micra gets NissanConnect functionality, which allows drivers to remotely manage charge level, vehicle location, charging history and scheduling, plus cabin temperature.

On mid and top-tier models, integrated Google Maps is standard, with in-built route planning functionality. The system automatically identifies charging stations along the route, and takes into account the car’s charge level, average consumption, and the external air temperature.

In terms of standard equipment, the Engage trim level comes with a 18-inch steel wheels, a 7-inch driver display and a 10.1 infotainment screen, automatic climate control, and four speakers.

Move up to the Advance car with its two battery choices, and 18-inch alloys are standard, along with a 10.1-inch, Google-based infotainment system, adaptive cruise control with Stop & Go, and wireless phone charging. Further kit includes different drive modes, a choice of ambient lighting, along with front parking sensors, a rear-view camera, and six speakers.

The range-topping Evolve builds on the Advance trim’s equipment, by adding a Harman/Kardon premium sound system, one-pedal driving, a two-tone pain finish, plus heated front seats and steering wheel. Nissan’s autonomous ProPilot driving assist is also included, and designed for highway use in single-lane traffic.

With under a month to go until the new Micra goes on sale in the UK, Nissan GB managing director, James Taylor said: “[The] Micra is the first of four new fully electric models to arrive on the Nissan line up and we are incredibly excited to be pricing it so competitively.

[The] Micra is a key strategic model for Nissan, and based on the positive reviews, exciting design, attractive price and a class-leading product, I am looking forward to seeing lots of new Micras on the road soon.”

In addition to the Micra, the other Nissan EVs Taylor mentioned are a new, third-gen Leaf, a new Juke, and a new city car, which will arrive in 2026 to sit beneath the Micra in the Japanese brand’s electrified line-up.
