Mercedes CLA Shooting Brake priced from £47,750 as UK order books open
The Mercedes CLA Shooting Brake will start from £47,750 as order books open in the UK ahead of a Q1 2026 delivery date.
An estate-bodied alternative to the all-conquering Tesla Model 3, the Mercedes CLA Shooting Brake is available with two choices of powertrain: a single motor CLA 250+ with a rear-mounted, 268bhp electric motor, or the all-wheel drive CLA 350 4Matic, which gets a second 81bhp motor on the front axle to increase power to 349bhp.
The CLA 250+ estate is priced from £47,750 for the entry-level Sport model, while the CLA 350 4Matic starts at £56,235, and is only available in mid-tier AMG Line Executive trim upwards.
Priced at £49,900, the CLA 250+ builds on the Sport’s 14-inch central display, adaptive distance control, and adaptive headlamps by adding keyless go, mobile wireless charging, keyless go, flush-fitting door handles and ambient lighting with a choice of 64 colours and 10 colour schemes.
Both versions of the CLA Shooting Brake are available with the AMG Line Executive trim, which ushers in a more aggressive AMG bodykit, sports seats, a multi-function Nappa leather steering wheel, and external door lights projecting the Mercedes three-pointed star. The CLA 250+ version is priced from £52,285.
The AMG Line Premium sits below the flagship AMG Line Premium Plus in the CLA estate hierarchy. It comes with Mercedes’ dash-wide MBUX superscreen, a 14-inch digital display for the front passenger, two-zone climate control, a memory package, and a Digital Extra package offering an in-car pass to the Mercedes-Benz app store. In this trim level, the RWD car is priced from £54,185 while its AWD sibling carries a £58,135 price tag.
The top-tier AMG Line Premium Plus gets a beefy Burmester 3D surround sound system, a head-up display, multi-beam LED headlamps, and a winter pack including a heated steering wheel. The most expensive model in the CLA estate range is the 350 4Matic at £60,785, while the 250+ option weighs in at £56,885.
Optional equipment for the Mercedes CLA Shooting Brake includes trailer coupling with ESP trailer stabilisation for £950, while a direct current (DC) charging system is priced from £850, and will allow owners to charge their vehicle at charge points offering charging speeds of up to 400V.
Irrespective of powertrain or trim level, the Mercedes CLA estate comes with just one choice of battery, an 85kWh unit – the CLA 250+ returns 472 WLTP-estimate miles from a single charge, while the additional power from the powerful 350 4Matic sees range drop to a marginally less 453 miles.
