Volkswagen offers van buyers up to £1,200 EV cashback
Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles is offering a new incentive to encourage more van drivers to make the switch to an electric vehicle.
Throughout October, the van specialist is offering buyers of any of its all-electric models a cashback deal worth £100 per month every month for a year.
Although electric van registrations have reached new record levels in 2025 they are still some way short of government-mandated targets and VW’s latest offer is part of an ongoing effort by van makers to attract more business and private customers to consider an electric model.
The Volkswagen October EV cashback offer is available across the entire range of Volkswagen Commercial vehicles, including the e-Transporter and cargo and passenger variants of the ID. Buzz.
The e-Transporter is the first all-electric version of VW’s famous one-tonne panel van. With a load capacity of up to 1,000kg and towing capacity of 2,300kg, it is designed as a full-on workhorse for individual tradespeople, small businesses and large fleet operators. Available with 134bhp or 215bhp motors and 64kWh battery good for up to 201 miles per change.
Alongside it, the ID. Buzz Cargo brings a heavily retro-inspired and more car-like experience for drivers with lower demands for carrying and towing. All versions of the Cargo are eligible for the cashback– from the entry level 59kWh version with its 200-mile range and 168bhp motor up to the 335bhp all-wheel drive equipped with a 79kWh battery.
Private buyers looking for one of the best seven-seat EVs on the market can also take advantage of the offer on the latest ID. Buzz LWB, which is available along with the six-seat LWB version and the more compact five-seat variant.
