Rimac Nevera R Founder’s Edition limited to just 10 bespoke units

Rimac has announced that it will build just 10 examples of its all-electric Nevera R Founder’s Edition hypercars, and they’ve all already been sold.

An entirely bespoke version of the 2,078bhp Nevera R, each Nevera R Founder’s Edition owner was invited to a personal configuration session at the Rimac Campus in Zagreb, Croatia, with founder Mate Rimac and the brand’s design director, Frank Heyl.

Using high-tech, sophisticated V-RED software, each Nevera R Founder’s Edition client could adjust the two-tone finish of their car in real-time, along with the finishes and materials used in its construction. Inside and out, the car can be configured with hand-painted adornments or liveries to reflect the owner’s personal connection with the Croatian manufacturer.

The Rimac Nevera R Founder’s Edition’s exterior is marked by an ultra-thin central stripe running the length of the car, featuring the Rimac logo and understated circuit board graphics. At its narrowest point, the stripe measures just 2mm wide.

Step inside, and the hand-stitched cabin’s door panels feature three key dates in Rimac history: the garage era of the early years, the launch of the Concept_One hypercar in 2013, and the most recent record-breaking period courtesy of the Nevera and the Zagreb campus, which arrived in 2022 and 2025. The asymmetrical seat configuration pays tribute to Mate Rimac’s own vehicle.

Seen as a celebration of Rimac’s journey from its 2009 foundation year to date, Rimac himself said: “From the very beginning of Rimac Automobili, I’ve been humbled by the people who believed in an idea that most considered unrealistic. With the Concept_One, we were asking our first customers to take a leap into the unknown — and they did. Those early believers set everything in motion.

“Since then, Nevera — and now Nevera R — have become the foundation of what the Rimac Group is today, as well as the pioneers of an entirely new level of automotive performance. They are milestones in our journey and a crucially important part of the growth and global acclaim of the Rimac Group. Without them, everything we have built wouldn’t have been possible.

“I wanted to find a way to thank the visionary individuals who helped shape this path — and to invite ten of them to experience our world in a completely new way. Not only through a remarkable car, but through a deeper connection to what makes Rimac unlike anything else.”

Launched in 2024 with an 108kWh battery, the Rimac Nevera R is the ‘aggressive alter ego’ to the standard 1,888bhp Rimac Nevera, which manages the 0-62mph run in a staggering 1.81 seconds and will hit a top speed of 256 mph.

Rimac hasn’t mentioned any pricing for the Nevera R Founder’s Edition. Yet given the regular car costs a not insignificant £1.7 million, expect this bespoke version to cost somewhat more.
