Renault offering up to £1,000 off of EV models

Renault is offering a discount of up to £1,000 on its all-electric Megane and Scenic models during its E-Tech Event, which runs until March 3, 2025.

The event was created by Renault

to build on the success of the French carmaker’s electrified E-Tech range, which has grown by 77% in terms of sales in 2023. The award-winning Megane and Scenic EVs are available on the scheme.

Both models receive an extra £1,000 on top of their existing PCP finance contributions of up to £3,000. Customers could purchase an entry-level techno spec Renault Scenic on 25 plates for £299 per-month with a 2.9% APR representative deal over four years with a £5,369 customer deposit.

Megane buyers can choose an exclusive 0% APR representative PCP finance offer over 48 months, with no minimum deposit required. This makes a 25-plate Megane available for £279 per-month with a total Renault deposit of £2,500 and customer deposit of £5,632, or £388 per month with a customer deposit of £388.

The E-Tech Event also extends to the brand’s hybrid Clio, Captur, and Symbioz models, as well as the Arkana, Austral and Rafale.

Renault isn’t the first manufacturer to offer generous discounts on its all-electric range during the opening months of 2025. Volkswagen recently announced that it will offer discounts from £1,000 upwards on its ID. models, with buyers able to save up to £10,000 on a brand new ID.5 when purchased on PCP.

The 2025 model year looks set to be a busy one for Renault. Earlier this week, the Renault 5 EV supermini recently made its UK debut after 200 of them were delivered ahead of going on sale in spring this year. Its sister car, the Alpine A290 hot hatch, also made its first official UK appearance at the F1 75 Live launch event, where it was driven to the red carpet by Alpine F1 lead driver, Pierre Gasly.

Later in 2025, another revived nameplate – the Renault 4 – will join the brands EV line-up. Similarly, an all-electric Twingo is scheduled to arrive in 2026.
