New Jaguar Vision Concept electric GT leaked ahead of official reveal
Images of Jaguar’s next-generation EV concept have been leaked online ahead of the car’s official unveiling.
The brand was due to reveal the concept version of its first all-electric GT car at Miami Art Week in the early hours of Tuesday morning. However, a series of images shared to the Coche Spias forum appear to show the full vehicle.
The Vision Concept is intended to give a strong indication of the design language of the next generation of Jaguar EVs. Last month it closed sales of its entire range of models ahead of a relaunch as an all-electric luxury brand in 2026.
The images show a minimalist two-door design with massive, square front end and slimline LED lights.
The traditional grand tourer shape has a strong cab-rearward design with a long bonnet, in a similar vein to the Rolls-Royce Spectre. The bluff ‘grille’ area is dominated by a bold textured panel featuring the new JaGuar brand identity – an element expected to be carried across all new Jaguar models.
The bold, angular shape is defined by flat surfaces and a handful of straight sharp lines running through the top of oversized flared wheel arches. While the concept’s windscreen and door glass appear to merge seamlessly thanks to hidden black A pillars, there is no rear glass at all. Instead, the new Jaguar – tagline ‘copy nothing’ – has what appears to be a solid body panel, like a Polestar 4. Below that is a broad vent pattern that Jaguar revealed as a key element of its design signatures across the brand.
While the Jaguar Vision Concept is a two-door coupe, the brand’s first production EV will be a four-door GT, but it is expected to feature many of the concept’s design elements. That model will be followed by a large SUV and a luxury saloon within 18 months.
Interior images give away little about how the production car will look inside. They show a cabin split by a high-level wing, and there are no dials, screens or other controls, suggestion Jaguar is aiming for a minimalist feel inside as well as out.
The new model marks Jaguar’s ambition to move upmarket, away from its premium mainstream position and into direct competition with luxury brands such as Bentley, Aston Martin and Maserati. It is expected to be priced from around £130,000 and go on sale in late 2026.
There has been no official word on technical specifications but it is believed that the production car will use two motors for an all-wheel drive setup with around 575bhp and a range well in excess of 400 miles.
