Fiat adds new entry-level Pop trim to Grande Panda Electric line-up

Fiat has replaced its base Fiat Grande Panda Electric ‘Red’ trim with the ‘Pop’ model as way of ensure naming consistency with the Grande Panda hybrid range.

This move from the Italian brand means that both the Grande Panda Electric and Grande Panda hybrid are both now available in Pop, mid-tier Icon, and range-topping La Prima trim levels.

Like the Red trim cars, the Fiat Grande Panda Electric Pop rides on 16-inch white steelies and comes with pixel LED lighting front and rear. Inside, a 10.25 centrally-mounted touchscreen is compatible with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, while several of the cabin’s shapes and details are inspired by Fiat’s Lingotto factory in Italy.

As well as a fast-charging USB C port up front, cruise control, a button-operated air-conditioning system, plus Pop-exclusive two-tone black/blue fabric seats with Panda lettering come as standard kit. Further equipment includes 60/40 rear seats, rear parking sensors, heated door mirrors, and a 10-inch digital driver display.

The Grande Panda Electric Pop’s stock colour is Passione Red – the remaining five colour options including Limone yellow and the pictured Acqua Azure are an additional £650. Despite doing away with the Red model, cars specced with the Passione Red paint finish will come with Red badging on the car’s B-pillars to mark the fourth anniversary of Fiat’s tie-up with the global AIDS/HIV charity.

Irrespective of trim level, the Fiat Grande Panda Electric gets just one choice of battery, a 44kWh unit capable of up to 199 miles WLTP on a single charge. The front-mounted 111bhp electric motor returns a top speed of 82mph and a 0-62mph time of 11 seconds.

All three versions of the Grande Panda qualify for the £1,500 Fiat E-Grant, which it introduced as its own in-house response to the UK Government’s Electric Car Grant earlier this year. Without the discount, Pop trim cars are priced from £20,995, the Icon from £21,995, and the La Prima from £24,035.

As well as the Panda, Fiat also offers fully-electrified versions of the 500 and its slightly larger sibling, the 600. These are priced from £25,035 and £30,035 respectively, despite both having been around longer than the all-electric Grande Panda, which will make its UK debut in early 2026.
