Farizon launches ‘Big 4’ deal on servicing, charging and warranty
Electric van specialist Farizon has launched a new all-in-one package for buyers of its SV model.
The “Big 4” offer bundles a four-year warranty, four years of roadside assistance, four years’ servicing and up to 4,000 miles of free EV charging.
The offer runs until December 31 and applies to all variants of the SV van, from the L1 H1 up to the L3 H3.
Priced from £40,000 (plus VAT), the SV comes with a four-year warranty and one year’s AA roadside assistance as standard, the Big 4 offer extends that breakdown cover for an additional three years and gives users access to the AA’s approved network of over 200 LCV garages for service, maintenance and repairs.
The wider network of garages is intended to support Farizon’s still-small dealership network which is focused in southern England. The brand intends to announce a series of new dealer and service partners in the coming months.
Along with servicing and maintenance support the offer includes public charging credit of £940. Based on the L1 H1’s official energy consumption of 2.55m/kWh and an average cost of public charging of 60p/kWh (taken from the AA Recharge Report), Farizon estimates that is enough for 4,000 miles of charging.
Kate McLaren, head of marketing and sales operations for Farizon Auto UK said: “Since launching the Farizon SV into the UK market earlier this year, we’ve seen significant interest and sales momentum from fleets and individual commercial vehicle users. While the SV delivers a compelling package in its own right, our new Big 4 offer will attract SME businesses, helping more customers to benefit from making the switch to electric mobility.”
As well as the free Big 4 offer, all versions of the Farizon SV qualify for the plug-in van grant of £5,000. That brings the starting price of the L1 H1 variant with a 63kWh battery down to £40,000 plus VAT. The 83kWh version, which offers up to 234 miles of range, starts at £43,000 while the range tops out with the £51,000 L3 H3 – the only version to get a 103kWh battery and 247-mile range – priced from £48,000.
