All-electric three-wheeled Fiat Tris to go on sale in Europe in 2026

Fiat has confirmed that its three-wheeled Tris EV will go on sale in Europe later this year, with a 56-mile range and 540kg loading capacity.

A Piaggio Ape-style vehicle, the Fiat Tris went on sale in Morocco and India in December 2025 and is available in three body styles: chassis-cabin, flatbed, and pick-up truck.

The Tris is designed for last-mile and urban deliveries such as take-out food and online shopping, and measures just 3.17 metres long. Under the skin lies a 6.9kWh battery paired with a 12bhp/33lb ft electric motor with a 28mph top speed.

Thanks to an integrated 220V plug, the Fiat Tris can be charged from 0-80% with a domestic plug in 3.5 hours. Meanwhile, a full charge will take four hours and 40 minutes.

Fiat Tris profile

Despite its diminutive size, the Tris gets regenerative braking to maximise range in urban areas, a 5.7-inch digital instrument cluster, plus full LED lighting front and rear. The tubular chassis is also corrosion-protected with an automotive-grade zinc coating.

Fiat has yet to announce Tris pricing and a confirmed arrival date, but we know it will debut in Europe on home soil in Italy later this year. Further European markets will be confirmed in due course. We already know that the Tris is on sale in African markets beyond Morocco as well as India.

The Fiat Tris will also fall under parent company Stellantis’ ‘CustomFit’ programme, which offers a wide range of conversion and customisation options either at the factory or via more than 600 authorised partners globally.

The Fiat Tris isn’t the only last-mile delivery vehicle to be offered by Stellantis. The automotive giant also offers the Citroen Ami Cargo, and the Opel Rocks with the additional Kargo Kit. The Ami Cargo is on sale in the UK and priced from £7,995, while its Opel-badged sibling is a Europe-only vehicle.
