Porsche crowned Team and Manufacturer champions in Formula E finale

Porsche has secured a historic double in London, winning both the Teams’ and Manufacturers’ titles in the ABB FIA Formula E World Championship — completing the set of major honours in the all-electric series.

Following the season finale at the ExCeL Centre, the Stuttgart-based marque was confirmed as 2025 Teams’ World Champion through its works outfit, the TAG Heuer Porsche Formula E Team. At the same time, it claimed the Manufacturers’ crown — a title made possible thanks to consistent performances not only from the factory team, but from its customer outfits Andretti Formula E and Cupra Kiro.

The win adds to Porsche’s electric legacy after it captured the Drivers’ Championship last season with Pascal Wehrlein, who also played a pivotal role again this year. The outgoing world champion finished third in Sunday’s race and secured fastest lap — crucial points that ultimately helped seal the title for the team.

“This is a hugely proud moment for everyone at Weissach,” a Porsche spokesperson said after the race. “To bring home both the Teams’ and Manufacturers’ World Championships is the result of years of commitment, development and teamwork.”

Factory support from Porsche proved decisive throughout the season, with customer team Andretti claiming multiple podiums and Cupra Kiro contributing valuable mid-field points in key rounds. The combined effort created an insurmountable lead in the Manufacturers’ standings, despite a spirited challenge from Nissan.

Porsche also paid tribute to its rivals, extending congratulations to Nissan’s Oliver Rowland on being crowned the 2025 Formula E Drivers’ World Champion. Rowland’s remarkable consistency this season — despite missing out on the podium in the final round — was enough to clinch the title ahead of Wehrlein and Nick Cassidy.

With Formula E entering a new technological era in 2026, Porsche’s triumph cements its status as one of the sport’s true innovators — combining German engineering prowess with race-day execution across multiple teams.
