Sub-£70k pricetag confirmed for 641bhp Hyundai Ioniq 6 N
Hyundai has confirmed that its Hyundai Ioniq 6 N super saloon will be priced from £65,800, with UK order books now open.
The South Korean carmaker’s answer to the likes of the Porsche Taycan GTS and Tesla Model 3 Performance made its global debut at the 2025 Goodwood Festival of Speed.
Hyundai then promptly revealed that the Ioniq 6 N will produce 641bhp and a top speed of 160mph from its twin-motor, all-wheel-drive (AWD) powertrain. However, it wasn’t until now that pricing has been established.
The £65,800 price tag gives the Ioniq 6 N a premium of around £800 over its much-loved hyperhatch, the groundbreaking Hyundai Ioniq 5 N.

Hyundai hasn’t revealed the 6 N’s range. However, both N cars share the same E-GMP electrical underpinnings and the same 84kWh lithium-ion battery. As such, we expect the Ioniq 6 N to have a similar WLTP-rated range of approximately 278 miles.
When deliveries start in spring 2026, UK-spec Ioniq 6 Ns will be available in a single trim level. The only optional extras are a tilting single-pane ‘Vision Roof’ priced at £1,250, plus six additional body colours.

The latter option goes beyond the stock ‘Serenity White’ and offers matte, metallic, and gloss choices priced from £750 to £1,250. Optional colours include Performance Blue, Abyss Black, Gravity Gold, and Nocturne Grey.
Hyundai is confident that the Ioniq 6 N will continue where the 5 N left off, and convince UK sceptics that electric vehicles can provide just as much driver engagement as their internal combustion-engined counterparts.
“The Ioniq 5 N revolutionised the world of performance cars, proving that an electric car could still raise the pulse of a driving enthusiast,” said Ashley Andrew, president of Hyundai and Genesis UK. “The Ioniq 6 N delivers even more to the enthusiast driver.”

The Ioniq 6 N isn’t the only new all-electric Hyundai to go on sale this year. The Ioniq 2, Hyundai’s answer to the Renault 4, will hit the market towards the end of the year, while the VW ID.3-rivalling Ioniq 3 is also said to arrive during the second half of the year.
