Honda launches new e:Ny1 EV finance deal to boost sales

Honda is offering a £5,000 contribution and 0% finance on its e:Ny1  SUV as it looks to boost sales of its only EV.

The new finance deal cuts monthly costs for the entry-level Elegance trim to £469 per month, while the top-end Advance trim now starts from £499 per month.

The offer runs at Honda dealers across Britain until May 31, and buyers of the e:Ny1 will also get the Honda Customer Care Package including five scheduled services, a two-year extended warranty, and two years’ worth of roadside assistance.

“Honda is dedicated to supporting the future of electric mobility, and our latest e:Ny1 retail offer is a testament to our ongoing commitment to making electric cars more accessible,” said Honda UK’s automobile head, Rebecca Adamson. “By offering a 0% APR and a Honda deposit contribution of £5,000, we are further enhancing our efforts to help even more customers embrace the advantages of electric driving.”

The e:Ny1 is the sole electric-only model in Honda’s UK line-up at present, after the brand stopped selling the Honda e city car. In late 2024, Honda announced that it planned to sell electric and hydrogen-only cars by 2040. This line of vehicles will be called the Honda 0 Series, reflecting the Japanese carmaker’s aim to start a whole new EV range from scratch.

In the UK, Honda is not the only manufacturer to offer hefty discounts on their existing EV line-ups. Earlier in 2025, Volkswagen was offering up to £10,000 off of its ID.5 line-up, while Renault was making concessions of up to £1,000 on its all-electric Megane and Scenic range.

The opening months of the year have proven positive for the UK’s EV sector. In February, EV sales were up 25% year-on-year and comprised nearly 42% of all new cars registered. Furthermore, charging network provider Zapmap recently confirmed that the UK hit the milestone of over 75,000 public chargers installed across the country.
